Reports may be reviewed by Chatem moderators or administrators.
Do not abuse the reporting system by repeatedly submitting false or intentionally misleading reports.
16. How moderation works
When Chatem receives a report or identifies potentially problematic content, we may review the content and the surrounding circumstances.
Depending on the situation, Chatem may:
-
Remove content.
-
Restrict content visibility.
-
Remove a post, comment, file, or other submission.
-
Restrict an account or feature.
-
Temporarily suspend an account.
-
Permanently disable an account.
-
Take other appropriate action.
Serious violations may result in immediate action.
Moderation decisions may consider the severity, context, frequency, and history of the behavior.
17. Appeals
If you believe moderation action was taken incorrectly, you may contact Chatem through the available support or appeal process.
When submitting an appeal, explain why you believe the decision was incorrect and provide relevant information.
Not every moderation decision will be reversible, particularly when the violation is severe or clearly documented.
18. Our approach to user-generated content
Chatem allows members to contribute content such as posts, comments, profiles, images, files, and other material.
Because users create this content independently, Chatem cannot guarantee that every submission will immediately comply with these guidelines.
We use reports, moderation, technical safeguards, and other measures to identify and address content that violates our policies.
We encourage everyone in the community to help by reporting content that appears to violate these guidelines.
19. Changes to these guidelines
Chatem may update these Community Guidelines as the platform grows, new features are introduced, or new types of abuse and safety concerns emerge.
When significant changes are made, we may update the date shown at the top of this page.
20. Our goal
Chatem exists to help people build communities and connect with others.
We want Chatem to be a place where people can:
-
Meet people with similar interests.
-
Create communities.
-
Share ideas.
-
Have conversations.
-
Work on projects.
-
Discover new things.
-
Have fun.
Help us keep it that way.
Be respectful. Be responsible. Be a good member of the community.
Thank you for being part of Chatem.
